Everything you need to use Polish in all applications running on Windows 95 and 98.
Zecer keyboard driver is NOT compatible with Windows 2000 / XP or later and should not be installed
on these platforms.
If you require Polish fonts for Windows 2000/XP see Ogonki package
If only the application offers you a facility to select the font you are writing with,
Zecer will work with it!

Zecer supports the following standards of coding Polish characters:
- Codepage 852 (IBM Latin-2, used by English versions of Windows)
- Codepage 1250 (Windows 3.1 PL and EE)
- Ventura 4 and WordPerfect for Windows standard
The package includes :
- 12 Windows system True Type fonts: Arial, Courier, Times New Roman (also as Bold/Italics)
- A number of designer's fonts ( 8, 38 or 138 depending on the version). All TrueType fonts can
be made Bold and Italic, so effectively you get 4 times more font faces than it say on the package.
Samples below are taken from 50 font version.

Before you assess the quality of the image above please make sure that it is loaded completely!
More font samples available by fax
on request.
- Polish system fonts - You need those if you want to see Polish
characters in the dialog Windows, for example if you also run a Polish
spell-checker.
- Polish fonts for DOS windows in 2 standards (Latin II or Mazovia)
- POLKEY, an excellent keyboard driver that allows you to input all
Polish characters via your normal PC keyboard by pressing
ALT together with the most similar Latin character, (for example
to type 'A with tail underneath' you press ALT and A together).
That means you do not have to re-map your keyboard to use Polish characters,
everything stays where it is and only these ALT combinations come as an
addition. (This is called "Polish programmers" keyboard standard)
These ALT+a etc. combinations have then higher priority then any other
actions your application may perform, so if for example you used to use
ALT+a to drop a menu, now you have to drop your application menu with a mouse.
Alternatively, if you don't want to use left ALT, the program can be customised
to use right ALT or prefix ~.

- Easy, automatic installation procedure adds Polish fonts
to the list of your existing Windows fonts.
- Manual in Polish and English.
All Polish fonts are perfectly suitable for writing in English.
(The Polish alphabet contains all letters from the English alphabet
plus 9 additional ones). Unlike Ogonki 3.0 installing
Zecer leaves all original Windows fonts unaffectted and adds font names with suffix or prefix
PL to the system . So for example you will have:
- Times New Roman - original Windows font
- Times New Roman PL - Times New Roman with Polish characters
